1. Log in to the copier
  2. Plug in your external memory
  3. Press Save a document to external memory.

    • If you already had your external memory plugged in, log in and then press the User Box button on the copier (below the screen), then press the System User Box tab, press the External Memory box icon, and then press the Save Document button.

  4. Make any changes to the document name or scan settings, as needed
  5. Place the content you want to scan in the appropriate place on the copier (top feed tray or glass)
  6. Press Start on the screen, or press the blue Start button
